LPN Details

• Full Time Schedules

• 8 hour shifts available depending on the facility

• Contract Position

LPN Duties

• Perform health assessments on residents with visual impairments to identify any existing health issues or concerns.

• Monitor and track residents health status, including chronic conditions, allergies, and medication management.

• Educate residents, staff, and families on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention using accessible materials and methods.

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate dosage and timing..

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate care to residents in crisis situations.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, including physicians, therapists, and specialists, to coordinate medical care for residents

• Maintain confidentiality of residents health information and adhere to HIPAA regulations

LPN Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution

• Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing

• 1+ year of relevant Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience
