Monitor Tech Details

• Full Time Schedule, 36 hours per week
• 12 hr day shift, 7am to 7:30pm, weekends required.
• Contract Position:  13 weeks with option to extend.

Monitor Tech Duties

This complex position is responsible for performing remote surveillance for multiple locations, specific to cardio-pulmonary rhythms via a central monitoring station, and for recognizing, recording and reporting potentially dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias following established standards and procedures per applicable regulatory requirements. Work is primarily performed in a centralized monitoring unit under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Each Technician can potentially watch up to 60 patients due to the highly advanced IT technology capabilities.

Monitor Tech Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Monitor Tech
• Must be capable of monitoring up to 60 patients at a time.
• Previous work with GE and Ascom Monitors.
